Mission Driven
We are the nation's oldest hearing and speech center and Northeast Ohio's only nonprofit organization dedicated solely to serving those with special communication needs. CHSC provides speech-language, hearing, language interpreting, and Deaf services. We advocate for equal access to information and communication and value all individuals' language choices equally. Our vision is a community where every person can communicate effectively. We are guided by our Core Values.

We Want YOU to Join Our Team
Location: Cleveland - hybrid
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Development, the Development Coordinator strengthens CHSC’s fundraising capacity by supporting the day-to-day activities of the department. Responsibilities include managing the donor database, processing gifts, generating reports and acknowledgments, coordinating mass mailings, and maintaining financial records. The Development Coordinator will also manage special projects, provide support for special events, and support grant related activities. Additionally, the Development Coordinator will provide support to CHSC board of directors regarding their philanthropy, ensuring superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

At Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center, our Marketing department is strategic, collaborative, and focused on promotion of the agency’s mission and brand as well as a targeted approach to revenue/lead generation. The purpose of the role is to help current and future clients and donors connect to our agency and services through digital and traditional media. We are seeking a creative team player who has a positive attitude; mature, professional demeanor; is self-motivated; is flexible and accepting of diverse job duties; takes direction and constructive criticism in stride; has the ability to prioritize, take initiative and multi-task in fast-paced environment.
