Tips to Talk - Free Virtual Presentation - Jan 26 | Jan 26

Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 7:00pm

Let’s Talk About Talking!

Join us for a virtual conversation about how to add language to your everyday activities to help grow your child’s talking and listening skills.

Each conversation will be led by a Speech-Language Pathologist from the Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center and focus on a different “tip to talk”.  Examples of topics include:

  • Why playing is so important: Mr. Potato Head is full of language
  • Be silly and sing, swing, squish: Motivate your child to talk
  • Not this or that: Build your child’s vocabulary by using yours
  • Why conversation is much more important than colors, letters, numbers, and shapes
  • Mealtime: Who isn’t motivated by food?
  • Why no app will ever be as important as playing with you
