Fundraising & Events

Special Events

Our special events help raise vital funds needed to continue providing free and reduced cost care to our clients. In addition to raising dollars, our two signature events, Cleveland Big Wheel Relay and our Fall Benefit, help raise awareness of, and introduce new people to, CHSC and its mission. Support comes from individuals, families, corporations, community groups, and businesses.

How you can help

There are many ways to support our special events including:

  • Corporate Business Partner sponsorships
  • Forming/sponsoring a team for the Cleveland Big Wheel Relay
  • Purchasing a table/tickets for the Fall Benefit
  • Donating items for our raffles/auctions
  • Volunteering your time

Due to COVID developments, this event is cancelled for 2021:

Throughout the year we offer many opportunities to get involved with the CHSC mission, as well as help drive awareness and donations. Through social media, community events, and private events, anyone can participate and offer support.

#GivingTuesday is an annual opportunity to “give back” during the “giving” season. A global event, #GivingTuesday promotes generosity of spirit on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. (Black Friday. Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday.) Online donations are encouraged through social media sharing and awareness. To make a donation to CHSC, visit

Community-Based Fundraising

We are very grateful to individuals, community groups, and businesses who choose to organize a community fundraiser on behalf of CHSC. These events, no matter the size, play a significant part in helping us provide free and reduced cost care to all of our clients. In addition to the money we receive, each of these events introduces new people to CHSC. If you would like to host a fundraising event, please contact Karen Hiller, Director of Development, at 216-325-7503 or
