American Sign Language (ASL) Classes

Our virtual ASL classes feature progressive language and comprehension development levels – meaning they build on each other. For this reason, we highly recommend taking each course in the appropriate level order.

About the Classes

Our ASL classes feature progressive language and comprehension development levels – meaning they build on each other. For this reason, we highly recommend taking each course in the appropriate level order. Questions concerning “testing out” of a level are directed to TSmith@chsc.org.

This is NOT an Interpreter Training Program and is NOT an accredited CE program. However, successful completion of these classes will provide you with a strong, conversational knowledge of ASL.

ASL Class Policy

  • Children 16 years old and younger must get permission from the instructor to attend. Inquire at rleffel@chsc.org. 
  • A minimum total of 8 students must be registered and paid for the class to be held. Class size is limited.
  • Registration will close Friday prior to the first day of class.
  • Registrations must be paid in full prior to the first day of class.
  • No refunds will be given after the 2nd week of classes.
