Help us to “pack the pantry” for Good Deeds Day

Our Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has recently seen a surge in homeless clients. This year, in order to ease their daily burdens, we would like to make an effort to "pack the pantry" for Good Deeds Day.

Good Deeds Day was established as an effort to connect people who want to volunteer or give back to their communities and organizations in need of assistance. CHSC celebrates Good Deeds Day on March 27, 2020.

"Sue's Pantry" was established in honor of Susan Bungard, previous Director of the Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Susan saw that the needs of our deaf clients often extended beyond the programs and social services we provide. Many times, clients were in need of basic items - such as food and personal care.

If you would like to Do Some Good by helping us to "pack the pantry" we are seeking donations of:

Shampoo, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste/brushes, feminine hygiene products, soap (bar or liquid), toilet paper

Non-perishable goods

Peanut butter, jelly, rice, canned fruits & vegetables, pasta/sauce, canned soup, mac & cheese, canned tuna & meats

Mini first aid kits, band-aids, wet wipes, diapers, cleaning items

Donations can be dropped off  Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm  at the Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, 11635 Euclid Ave., Cleveland
